If that was true rockstar wouldn't be releasing gta4 on the ps3.
The reason those ps3 games have to install is because the blu-ray drive in the ps3 is so slow. Long live blu-ray padding with no compression = Install
I own a ps3,wii and 360, but I am buying the 360 version. cross platform games are always better on the 360 add rumble in and additional content. The 360 is the way to go :)

On the whole wifi thing I would gladly pay for microsofts module it has 802.11 a/b/g. the future ps3 only has b/g. I recently upgrade my network to a/n and my 360 wifi works great, my ps3 wifi doesn't work on 5 GHz .
The 360 wifi adapter Dual band 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz Wireless A/B/G home network compatible.
The 360 version wins hands down, even IGN says so. I'll be picking up the 360 version.

Of course you didn't, if you did notice things like frame rate, graphics and game selection you would be a 360 owner. The console with the best library is the 360. Jump in
MGS4 is not going to save the ps3 its to far behind. The game library of the ps3 just lacks. When MS drops the price of the 360 @ the GTA4 launch. RIP PS3.

I am purchasing GTA4 for the 360 with rumble and the exclusive content its the best choice.
Is the blu-ray drive that slow? Maybe. This is an issue I dislike about my ps3 and thats installing a game. Drake's Fortune took at least 15 mins to install etc. also and on top of that when I download a demo off PSN it has to install. Give me the choice to install DMC4 or have longer load times.

Most of the 299 or 249 blu-ray player aren't profile 1.1 and there have been issues with newer movies from fox and other studios playing on profile 1.0 players. Who knows what profile 2.0 will bring as far incompatibilities with newer movies. So most people in the know are buying the ps3 for hidef movies alone.
The only safe bet now is a hd-dvd / blu-ray combo player. I just picked up a samsung bd-up5000 and I can play both :)
If I were microsoft I would release the 360 with a combo player and let the consumer decide which studios to support.

I own a ps3 and the 360 kicks the ps3 in the nuts. I would bet money Alan Wake is out in 2008. Man I hope the ps3 gets some decent games soon not 4 you bitter trolls but 4 actual gamers you know the ones who play games.
If I were you I would be more concerned about the ps3 game attach rate, thats what is going to kill the ps3. You know all the people that bought the ps3 to watch movies and don't give a rats @$$ about gaming... And when the xbox 720 ships the ps4 will be behind ...

Not all ps3 have backward compatibility. I own the 80GB ps3 and ps2 games look like @$$ without the emotion engine. Maybe on the 20GB and 60GB ps3's with the emotion engine its a different story.
All you need to play Burnout 3 on a 360 is own the hard drive for backward compatibility and own the xbox game or buy the xbox original download from the market place.

The 360 version is better. All cross platform games play better on the 360. And the downloadable content is icing on the cake. Can you even carry a conversation in the ps3 gta multiplayer. 360 FTW
